Mighty Girls

MIGHTY GIRLS profiles teenage girls raised in chronic poverty as they navigate their complicated lives

to stay on a path to realize their dreams with the support of family, friends and the community.

We wanted to provide a documentary that would show the participants during authentic
moments of conflict and introspection, moments that reflect a tapestry of their challenges in a
sometimes scary and confusing world.
